Drill results at Sulphurets exceed expectations

Toronto, Canada - Better than expected results from this year's core drill program at KSM`s Sulphurets zone are expected to: (1) upgrade substantially all of the inferred resources remaining in the planned pit to measured and indicated; (2) significantly increase mineral resources due to better than predicted grades and widths; and (3) show the discovery of a new zone which could also add to resources.

Seabridge Gold Inc. announced today that the Government of Canada has issued a regulatory amendment to Schedule 2 of the Metal Mining Effluent Regulations (MMER) under the Fisheries Act for Seabridge's KSM Project located in northwestern British Columbia. The amendment authorizes certain natural water bodies frequented by fish for use in a Tailings Management Facility (TMF).
